GRASP can offer financial aid assistance for free to families and students because it is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation supported by surrounding cities and counties, and by generous individuals, businesses, and foundations.
“ The biggest thing that influenced my choice to come (to the University of Richmond) was the GRASP representative at Meadowbrook High School. My advisor did a very generous thing for me when she talked to someone at the University of Richmond about my situation. I was able to set up a meeting with the financial aid counselor here and ended up receiving a grant from UR for $35,000. If it wasn’t for GRASP I wouldn’t have applied to this school. Now that I am here, I am very happy with my decision.”    Yesenia Escolastico
